Grandma

My sweet Grandma passed away a few days after Thanksgiving. Blake and I actually cooked and hosted our first Thanksgiving and it was a success. We invited my Dads side of the family and we all got to spend a great last day with my Grandma

After struggling with a hard battle of Alzheimer's Grandma said her goodbyes. On Thanksgiving day she amazed us all and said things she had not said in months. She called me by name. Told Blake she loved him, and gave us compliments on our clothes and food. It was a wonderful day.

A few days later she ended up in the hospital with a slowing heart and we all got to crowd around her and see her off. I will always miss her. She was a strong example of what a hard working, loving woman should be and I hope I can amount to even half the woman she was. I loved her dearly and will never forget her.
