CALIFORNIA

With the baby coming in July/Aug we realized we would miss out on a chance to take a long family vacation. Memorial Day weekend worked for us and so we splurged and went to California!!!!! It was so wonderful. We have not been on a long vacation since last summer so I was getting pretty Antsy. I NEED MY VACATION TIME!!! I came home feeling refreshed and relaxed. It was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!

DAY # 1........ DISNEYLAND!

What child does not automatically ask to go on the carousel ride??? We went on the flying dumbo ride next but decided that was the last "go in circles" ride because I almost lost my breakfast. (what a wimp I know)

I'm sure we could have taken Tay to the neighborhood park and gotten just as big a smile but oh well! She will have great pics for memories!!!

Tay LOVED Mickey. At the moment it is her favorite show to watch on the Disney Channel

Talia's Great Grand-Dad gave her twenty dollars to spend at the park. (lucky girl) she picked out a Micky doll and a sucker.... The Mickey took all of her money so we had to spot Tay the extra cash for the sucker.

DAY #2... NEW PORT BEACH

We stayed at Warrens the rest of the trip. He lives a block from the beach so we were pretty spoiled. Thanks again Warren! We had a fantab time!

DAY #3 SEA WORLD!!!

There was a giant adult sized jungle gym. It was pretty cool. We all climbed through the course and realized that it was not so cool in the end. I ended up with rope burn on my knee and Nana through out her shoulder! The army wont be asking us to join anytime soon that's for sure.... Kids are cut out for anything I swear!

The rest of the trip we just hung out shopped and ate good food. I got the quality time I need out of my family. We will definitely be back soon!!!!

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

I went to a friends baby shower down in Mesa. We are a week apart and both having girls. My stomach looks weird in this pic... Oh heck I LOOK WEIRD in this picture. Melissa as always looks fab. We are 26/27 weeks pregnant

Happy Easter!

Easter was wonderful this year. It was Stake Conference and we were blessed to have Elder Nelson (of the twelve) come speak to us. Easter morning Talia was happy to find a trail of jelly beans the Easter Bunny had left her. The trail led to a basket full of really exciting things. Bubbles, chalk, Thomas The train movie and much much more. We enjoyed the morning making pancakes with strawberries blueberries and home made syrup.YUMMMMM!!!

Half way through breakfast there was a knock at the door it was the Police. He told us some kids had gone through the neighborhood and any car that was unlocked was broken into. Blake never locks his truck so we were pretty sure his would have been targeted. We went out side and noticed the glove box and center console were wide open. When Blake went through the truck all his things were still there! I guess his stuff was not cool enough to take. Except 3 packs of gum. lol... He had expensive tools and things but no I-Pod or awesome stereo. The Officer asked if we wanted to file a police report. It was tempting!!!! Ok no it was not... But we were grateful at that moment to be broke... Just that moment, the feeling faded quick ha ha....

After church we drove East to visit the Hancock family. We had a delicious dinner and came home that evening. We never had time for an egg hunt but NEXT YEAR FOR SURE TAY! I PROMISE!!!!!!!!!!!
