Trip to the Temple

This past weekend we went to a sealing in the Snowflake Temple. It was a very spiritual day. I love, love, LOVE the Temple. There is no greater place in the world. Every time I go I always leave telling myself that i will be back sooner than later. So hopefully I will be able to keep my word this time around. It is a great reminder to me about eternal families and The blessing of being married to Blake. He is my life and I fall more in love with him each time I go back. ..... Weddings... nothing better!!!

SQUAW PEAK

This past weekend we took a small family trip down to Phoenix. We stayed at The Pointe Squaw Peak resort. It was sooooo wonderful. I really needed a vaca. We were lazy all weekend. We met up with Ben and Krista and all soaked in the final days of summer.

The weather was PERFECT! We had FUN x 10...

Talia finally is at that age where she could have stayed in the water all day. So we all just hopped in our tubes and floated down the lazy river... One of my favorite words to become "LAZY"

This girl LOVES food! and I am sure every baby at this age does she LOVES IT ALL!!! it has been a game lately to find out what she wont eat. I thought I had her stumped when a piled in a big spoonful of tuna fish, TUNA FISH!!!... and she looked at me like "Mom, why have you been holding out?" She is so funny. but no complaints. ( except the dog food and toilet water) OMG!!!... I LOVE THIS GIRL!!!!

AUGUST

WE HAD A VERY BUSY MONTH THIS SUMMER. IT IS CRAZY HOW FAST THE SUMMER WENT BY!!!! BLAKE GRADUATED IN MAY BUT HAS DECIDED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL THIS FALL. ( HE THOUGHT HE WAS DONE...LOL...NEVER!!!! )

AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH BEN AND KRISTA (BLAKE'S SIS) MOVED TO TUCSON. BEN GOT INTO U OF A SCHOOL OF LAW. SO HE WILL BE KNEES DEEP IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE BOOKS WHILE KRISTA WILL BE BELLY DEEP IN "WHAT TO EXPECT WHILE EXPECTING" BOOKS. WE ALREADY MISS THEM SOOOO MUCH. IT WAS HARD TO WATCH THEM GO BECAUSE WE HAD TO SAY BYE TO FAMILY AND BEST FRIENDS. BUT WE SURE ARE EXCITED FOR OUR FIRST NIECE!!!! (OR NEPHEW...BOO )

BLAKE AND I WERE ASKED TO HELP OUT WITH YOUTH CONFERENCE THIS YEAR. BLAKE GOT TO BE A BIG BAD SECURITY GUARD AND I WAS PUT IN CHARGE OF A STATION FOR THE KIDS TO COME PLAY A GAME AND LEARN A CHURCH LESSON. IT WAS A LONG HOT DAY BUT LOTS OF FUN!


BLAKE AND NICK THE MORNING AFTER REGULATING DIRTY DANCING, SNEAKING OUT, AND KISSING FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE. YOU KNOW HOW THOSE MORMON KIDS GET. IT WAS A CRAZY NIGHT!



EIN AND I AT OUR STATION. WE HAD A LAND MINE WHERE THE KIDS WOULD TEAM UP. ONE WOULD WEAR A BLIND FOLD WHILE THE OTHER HAD TO DIRECT THEM ACROSS WITHOUT STEPPING ON ROCKS ANS STICKS AKA BOMBS.... THEY LEARNED THE IMPORTANCE OF TRUSTING CHURCH LEADERS AND REPENTANCE.

WE HAD A LADIES NIGHT! IT WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN EVERYONE LEFT THERE BABIES AT HOME (EXCEPT ERIN) AND WE WENT TO DINNER AND BOWLING



WE ALL STRAPPED ON OUR BOWLING SHOES, PICKED OUT OUR HEAVY 8 POUND BALLS AND SET MAD RECORDS ( OK..OK... NO ONE EVEN SCORED INTO THE TRIPLE DIGITS BUT STILL WE LOOKED LIKE PROS. WE HAD GANGSTA-RAP NAMES TO "KEEP IT REAL" (LEIGH) MASTA LEIGH, (TARAH) T MONEY, (JANA) ITTY BITTY T, (ERIN) E WOOD, (MISTY) MISTYCAL, (HEIDI) TIG-O-BITTY, AND (CRISSI) CRIS-CROS

IN SEPTEMBER BLAKE AND HIS DAD ARE GETTING PAID TO GUIDE A FEW GUYS FOR A BOW ELK HUNT IN UNIT 10 (NEAR WILLIAMS) HE HAS BEEN GOING OUT SPOTTING ELK TO FIND "THE BIG ONES" I USUALLY TAG ALONG UNLESS HE GOES IN THE MORNING I DONT BELIEVE IN RISING BEFORE THE SUN

OUR BEAUTIFUL BABY WHO GETS MAD WHEN YOU DONT LET HER WONDER. SO TO KEEP FROM BEING EATEN ALIVE SHE GETS TO CRAWL ON THE HOOD OF MY CAR.



THIS IS An elk that scored a 400, WHAT EVER THAT MEANS... WE TOOK THE PIC THROUGH BINOCS SO IT IS VERY BLURRY.



IT IS A TOSS BETWEEN BLAKE BEING CUTE AND IRRITATING WITH HIS WHOLE HUNTING OBSESSION. WELL ITS ONLY CUTE WHEN I AM WITH HIM. WHEN I AM NOT ITS ..... SOME TIMES EVERY BAD NAME IN THE BOOK... NO WORRIES, I STILL LOVE YOU HONEY.
