WICKED

THIS WEEKEND I WENT TO WICKED!!.... NO!... NOT THAT UNDER-AGE UNDER-DRESSED COFFEE HOUSE... THE MUSICAL!!!!
SATURDAY MORNING DEB, KRISTA, MARISSA, LAUREN, AND I PILED INTO DEB'S JEEP AND HEADED SOUTH TO CATCH THE MUSICAL AT GAMAGE. IT WAS SPECTACULAR. THE STORY FOREVER CHANGES YOUR OUTLOOK ON THE WIZARD OF OZ. IT WAS PHENOMENAL. WE WENT TO THE MATINEE SO WE GOT THE UNDERSTUDIES BUT THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. IT IS SUCH TALENT TO HEAR THEM SING. GALINDA THE "GOOD" WITCH WAS MY FAVORITE. SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. EVERY SQUEAL OF DELIGHT HAD ME CRACKING UP.

KRISTA CASSI AND I FEELING THE ANTICIPATION BEFORE THE SHOW

DEB IS THE GREATEST. SHE GOT US SEATS IN THE 8TH ROW. IT WAS UNREAL. THE COSTUMES THE MAKEUP. W-O-W WOW!!!

BEFORE THE SHOW ALL THE GIRLS MET UP FOR LUNCH AT CAFFE BOA IN TEMPE, A MEDITERRANEAN PLACE. MOST OF US DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE MENU BUT IT WAS MIGHTY TASTY

WE ALL REALIZED WE WERE VERY COLOR COORDINATED THAT DAY. I GUESS WE REALLY ARE FAMILY
A MUST SEE!!!

Kaibab / The North Rim

We went camping up on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon this last week with Blakes' family.
( I feel like the last few blogs have all been about camping.) Blake has worked the last two summers so we are making up for lost time I guess. But I am not going to lie, I AM ALL CAMPED OUT! no offense babe... We still had fun, and It was so great to enjoy the outdoors one last time while the weather is amazing ...

Talia was a big hit this trip. She learned how to give "kisses", climb stairs, clap her hands, and the different flavors of ......dirt, bark, and pine cones. YUMMMMMY!

This was my first time seeing The Grand Canyon for the "other side" It is such a difference. It is very green, a lot less crowded and much cooler. It is just a longer drive so people tend to visit the South Rim more

While driving through the park, we saw a HUGE group of buffalo. It was The CRAZIEST thing ever. They are so BIG. there were probably over 100. I went from saying " I have never seen a buffalo" to... " Oh yeah, I have seen lots of Buffalo"

Trevor, Kevin, Me, Lauren, Deb, Marissa, Cassi, and Dan

There was this million foot watch tower that you could get phone reception and climb to the top. I am COMPLETELY TERRIFIED of heights so it was a huge deal that I made it to the top. I almost gave up on the first flight of stairs. I was shaking in my sneakers every stair but I DID IT!

Me and Trev releaved we made it to the top. But realizing that now we had to go back down. KILL ME!!!!!!!>>>>>>>

On our quad ride There was a giant scary bug on my leg (OK, OK, it was a grass hopper... BUT STILL it was scary), so I FREAKED out, shook my leg, and hit Lauren in the head with my shoe.... SORRY DUDE... then I saw a skunk and started screaming while Blake informed me that it was " just a squirrel" ..... not my most prideful ride.. I am an idiot. LOL

4th of July

For the 4th of July we went to TAYLOR ARIZONA. A small town
out side of Snowflake. This is where Deb (Blakes Mom's) parents live. We had
a great time catchin up with the family and enjoying the long weekend.
--------------------------

There was a talent show, so the four "CALL GIRLS" put on a tribute to Michael Jackson by dancing to Thriller. We rocked it. They so would have added us to the video if half th girls were born when it was produced. ha!.... And lucky for us I can whip out Zombie hair in a matter of minutes. The line that sums up the whole thing "TOTAL HOTTIES!!"

Grandpa Hancock took us around Taylor to show us all his childhood memories. Believe it or not this is not ALL the Hancock family. (Deb has 5 sisters and 1 brother.)

Tay ( with a goofy face) and her Aunt Krista whom she is going to miss
when they move down south next month.

We all got matching 4th shirts. We cant help but be awesome!!!

Talia had ...THIS!!!!! ...much fun the whole weekend

The Call Family.
