We went camping up on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon this last week with Blakes' family.
( I feel like the last few blogs have all been about camping.) Blake has worked the last two summers so we are making up for lost time I guess. But I am not going to lie, I AM ALL CAMPED OUT! no offense babe... We still had fun, and It was so great to enjoy the outdoors one last time while the weather is amazing ...
Talia was a big hit this trip. She learned how to give "kisses", climb stairs, clap her hands, and the different flavors of ......dirt, bark, and pine cones.
YUMMMMMY!
This was my first time seeing The Grand Canyon for the "
other side" It is such a difference. It is very green, a lot less crowded and much cooler. It is just a longer drive so people tend to visit the South Rim more

While driving through the park, we saw a HUGE group of buffalo. It was The CRAZIEST thing ever. They are so BIG. there were probably over 100. I went from saying " I have never seen a buffalo" to... " Oh yeah, I have seen lots of Buffalo"

There was this million foot watch tower that you could get phone reception and climb to the top. I am
COMPLETELY TERRIFIED of heights so it was a huge deal that I made it to the top. I almost gave up on the first flight of stairs. I was shaking in my sneakers every stair but
I DID IT!
Me and
Trev releaved we made it to the top. But realizing that now we had to go back down.
KILL ME!!!!!!!>>>>>>>
On our quad ride There was a giant scary bug on my leg (OK, OK, it was a grass hopper... BUT STILL it was scary), so I
FREAKED out, shook my leg, and hit Lauren in the head with my shoe....
SORRY DUDE... then I saw a skunk and started screaming while Blake informed me that it was " just a squirrel" ..... not my most prideful ride.. I am an idiot. LOL
