Oceanside, CA

For Spring Break we went as a family to California. We squeezed tons of fun things in to the few days we were there. Blake was recently laid off due to the sorry economy but was very fortunate to get a job working for GORE. So he had to fly home early to be back at work Monday morning. While the rest of us stayed till Wednesday. We got to play at the beach, go to Disney Land, go to the San Diego aquarium, and Tay and I went and stayed with my Mom and Warren one night up in New Port.

With Krista due in a couple weeks I knew she was more than ready for the baby to come so I decided to take a trip south to try and keep her from going crazy. the weather was PERFECT!!!! It was a lot of fun seeing Ben and Krista. It turned into a VERY BUSY WEEK!....

We went to the Zoo..... Tay had alot of fun and every animal there was a "doggy"

Then.... lucky me, Krista WENT INTO LABOR!!!!! To help the time go by we played Pretty Pretty Princess... This is me as the PRINCESS winner. And this is Krista having a CONTRACTION!!!!! Oh the memories of labor


The next morning Ben took Krista to the hospital and she gave birth to this perfect, gorgeous little girl Taylor Summer Nielsen. She is PRECIOUS! I love her so much already. She is my first niece and I never thought I would feel this much joy but I do. I am not sure if I am so obsessed based on the first niece thing or if she lives way to far and I cant see her whenever I want, but... what ever the reason I am... O to the B to the s-e-s-s-e-d!. OBSESSED! I wish i could have stayed all week.
