Prayer is amazing. After attending the Temple and fasting, each time we receive a "no" answer. I am so grateful we have the church. If we didn't have those wonderful tools to use we would have probably said yes to the first company. Money always looks so sparkly and attractive. If Blake took a project engineer job he would double his pay! But once you break down less time at home, moving away from family and more stress the shiny dollar signs start to fade.
Blake has finally decided to put in his time and stay with Gore. It would be nice to use his degree but I think Blake is satisfied just knowing he is wanted in the construction world if he ever wants to head in that direction. So no more school, and no more job hunting. We have closed the door on jobs outside of W.L. Gore.
So here is to you babe! I have all the faith that you have made the right decision. I am proud of you!
Plus now Blake can use that extra time fulfilling his new calling in the ward. "2nd Councilor in the Priesthood" I know it is something else but I will use my famous excuse I'M A CONVERT! Oh wait its Elders Quorum that's right... "2nd Councilor in the Elders Quorum." Pretty fancy calling
