This week end we got an opportunity to get out of town. We joined Blake's family on a trip up to General Conference. On Thursday we hit the road at 3 p.m. and head up to Provo. We decided to make things even more interesting and potty-train Talia that week. I didnt bring one pull-up on the trip. PANTIES ALL THE WAY!!!! Talia did great. She had only 1 accident the whole trip. Thank goodness I have to use the bathroom every ten minutes so I always remember to remind Talia. ( I still hate potty training. It is a nightmare!)

Marissa and Lauren are attending BYU so we picked them up and spent Friday at a Mini-golf park. It was a lot of fun. Batting cages, Go-Carts, Arcade games, Mini-Golf... The weather was gorgeous and we ate at Brick Oven Pizza. (the highlight of the pregnant ladies day)

We drove to Salt Lake that night to prepare for a busy Conference weekend. Blake and I spent the evening with one of Blake's Mission Companions and his wife. They cooked us dinner and we chatted about missionary stories. I had planned on visiting my long time friend Alexis while we were there but she ended up having her baby that day and the timing just didn't work out. What a great day!!!!

We were able to get tickets for the Saturday morning session. Our Hotel was one block from the conference center which was so nice! No parking!!!! It was a mad zoo of people either begging for tickets or picketing how crazy they think us Mormons are. It was quite a show. Since no one under the age of 8 can go Blake stayed at the Hotel with Tay.....

Conference was amazing. The Choir is my favorite. I was bummed that the prophet didn't give a talk that morning but I really enjoyed the strong spirit and inspiration of the talks. I didn't get to walk around the Temple as much as I would have liked but we will go back soon to create more memories there.
