This year Blake was drawn for a Deer tag. (finally) Pore guy never gets drawn.... Talia and I decided to join him at the end of the weekend. His father and him had been after these 3 bucks that ran together. (I finally realize the bachelor party joke) They really do hang out in the same groups. The night we got there Blake glassed for a couple of hours while Tay and I napped in the car. We were not that much help. LOL....
He got back in the car and said "We only have an hour left of light." I was getting worried since he had not seen ANY deer. We began to drive to the next point where he could again use his binocs to find some deer. As we drove I spotted the 3 bucks on the right and told Blake to stop the car. He jumped out and shot one of the bucks over the hood of the car. It was very exciting. It all happened so fast. He took a shot and then took another shot. I saw 2 bucks running but not the third. I told Blake he must have hit one. He asked me over and over again if I was sure there were three. I was sure. He walked out into the bushes and found his nice 4 point kill. Great work Blake!!!!!!!

Yeah Blake!! I'm sure he was so proud of you for seeing them haha :) How fun...weird...I think this is the first moment I kinda miss hunting. :) Can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks!
Awesome work Blake! And you go girl for spotting them out! How cool that you were able to be there! You have the cutest family, I love how Bruzer is in the picture too. Look at that grin on his face, he is one happy hunter-man! Congrats guys!
