Every summer Blake and I have spent together we NEVER do anything. We are broke, new jobs, internships, etc. This year both of us had open schedules to take full advantage. I realized my last 5 posts are based on vacation... No we are not made of money but we were determined to make up for all that lost vacation time. this week we went to Lake Powell. It was Blakes whole family and the Waltons whole family there were LOTS OF PEOPLE. It was a blast! I did not pull out the camera till the last two days where the only people remaining were us, Nick, and Erin. I love Lake Powell. We roasted in the sun enjoying swimming, wake-boarding, tubbing, slolomn skiing.... You name it, we were doing it. This was a very needed vacation!!! Blake and I NEEDED some one on one time with our close friends.

Sounds like it was awesome! I'm glad you guys are taking the time to vacation a bit. We do pretty good in that category, but I'm always hoping for more trips!! :) Allen jokes that I never want to miss a party, so I guess that's not a huge surprise to him. :) Haha!
