SO I AM VERY BIG ON DECORATING MY HOUSE. I USUALLY CAN THROW A ROOM TOGETHER VERY QUICKLY BUT FOR SOME REASON WHEN IT CAME TO DECORATING FOR A BABY I DEVELOPED A MENTAL BLOCK. IT HAS TAKEN ME A WHOLE YEAR TO FINALLY DECIDE WHAT TO DO FOR TALIA'S ROOM. OVER THE SUMMER I HAD BLAKE DRIVE DOWN TO THE VALLEY AND BUY THIS BEDDING THAT I THOUGHT I LOVED. BEING A PREGNANT WOMAN, A FEW WEEKS LATER I DECIDED IT WAS THE UGLIEST BEDDING EVER MADE! SO I WENT TO THE FABRIC STORE AND BOUGHT SOME FABRIC AND SEWED MY OWN. I WAS HAPPY WITH IT BUT THEN COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHAT TO PUT ON THE WALLS. SO ONCE AGAIN THE ROOM SAT. IT HAS BEEN A HUGE MESS (OH THE TRAGEDIES IN MY LIFE) SO OUT OF NO WHERE ONE EARLY MORNING I WAS INSPIRED. SO HERE IT IS!!!

Love it! You did an amazing job decorating it! Good for you! I am the same way! I got Sofia's bedding like a week before she was born, just couldn't decide! You want her room to be perfect! Totally understand! Wow...you are so brave for sewing her bedding! What a talent! Beautiful room!

Hey Leigh!! It's so fun to come across your blog. I've been wondering about you guys and somehow missed the fact that you had a girl. I thought it was a boy this whole time! Jace and I had a girl just a few months before you, in May, and I LOVE it!! They are just way fun. Congrats to you both and I'm glad I can peek in on you now and see what's going on in your lives.
